Allie DiMeco Claims Nickelodeon Forced Her To Kiss A 30-Year-Old Man When She Was 14
Former child actors from Nickelodeon productions have been a focal point of media attention recently, particularly after the debut of 'Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.'
Now, adding to this roster is Allie DiMeco, known for her role in 'The Naked Brothers Band.' She recently took to social media to recount an alleged uncomfortable encounter she felt compelled to engage in.
In a TikTok post, she discussed the anxiety she experienced while watching the documentary and mentioned that she felt compelled to view 'Quiet on Set.'
DiMeco alleged that they were involved "in a Danwarp, pedophile show," claiming the series pertained disturbing themes. She alleged that she and others went through distressing experiences during that period.
She described an alleged incident when she was 14-years-old and was instructed to engage in a kiss with a man in his thirties during a filming session. This transpired while she portrayed the character Rosalina on the television series 'The Naked Brothers Band.'
"There was an episode where Rosalina. She did on that [episode] kinda kiss a French guy... it was a scripted show, and a lot of kids thought that it was a documentary in real life. And people, particularly girls, wanted to fight me in real life. I didn't have fans because they thought it was real life that I kissed this greasy a*s, dusty a*s dwarf," she alleged.
Dimeco claimed that both she and her mother raised objections, yet she felt compelled to comply out of fear that her job would be jeopardized if she refused.
In retrospect, the actress acknowledges that her experience filming 'The Naked Brothers Band' had its positive aspects, describing it as "great" overall. However, she also highlighted moments when it was reportedly less than favorable, alleging that the environment was influenced by nepotism, particularly within the cast and production team.
