Prince Harry Named In $30 Million Sex-Trafficking Lawsuit Against Diddy
Prince Harry was named in a $30 million dollar lawsuit accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexual abuse.
Music producer Rodney Jones, also known as Lil Rod, claimed in court documents obtained by Page Six that guests were drawn to the hitmaker's alleged sex-trafficking parties due to the rapper's purported "access to celebrities such as famous athletes, political figures, artist [sic], musicians and international dignitaries like British royal Prince Harry."
Harry, 39, is not a defendant nor has he been accused of anything criminally, and was only named once in the lawsuit. His name being mentioned does not suggest he knew about the allegations against the father of seven or was involved.
The Duke of Sussex and his brother, Prince William, met the former Bad Boy Records founder at a party they hosted in 2007.
According to reports, Diddy performed "I'll Be Missing You" at a charity event, which was held in honor of the brother's late mother, Princess Diana. Harry and Diddy also took a picture together with Kanye West. It's unclear whether they ever hung out again.
Diddy, 54, left California just hours before his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles and on Miami's Star Island were raided by Homeland Security on Tuesday.
"Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners," a spokesperson for Homeland Security Investigations said in a statement obtained by TMZ. "We will provide further information as it becomes available."
The three-time Grammy Award winner — who has not spoken publicly about his home's raid — was seen pacing back and forth outside of a Miami airport while federal agents raided his properties.
Cassie, Diddy's ex-girlfriend of over a decade, sued him for rape and physical abuse in a bombshell lawsuit last year.
The singer, who was once signed to Diddy's label, alleged the producer participated in sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual battery, sexual assault, and gender-motivated violence.
One day after the lawsuit was made public, a settlement was reached.
"We have decided to resolve this matter amicably," the Harlem native said in a November 18 statement. "I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love."
Diddy has denied all accusations against him.
