Kenan Thompson addresses concerns raised by former Nickelodeon colleagues, such as Drake Bell, who have come forward with accounts of abuse and mistreatment during their time on the network's shows.

Kenan Thompson expresses sympathy and solidarity with his former Nickelodeon colleagues amidst reports of abuse and mistreatment within the network's family.

In response to the recent Investigation Discovery docuseries "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," delving into allegations of sexual abuse, racism, and sexism within Nickelodeon's acclaimed shows, former All That star Kenan Thompson voiced his solidarity with those who have come forward with their experiences.

My "heart goes out to anybody that's been victimized or their families. I think it's a good thing that the doc is out and is putting things on display that need to be told for accountability sake," Thompson stated during an interview with Tamron Hall on March 27. "But it's definitely tough to watch because I have fond memories of that place."

Nevertheless, the 45-year-old highlighted that numerous allegations, particularly those concerning workplace misconduct against producer Dan Schneider, "happened after I left" from the network in the early 2000s.

"It's tough for me because I can't really speak on things that I've never witnessed," Thompson stated. "Dan wasn't really on Kenan and Kel like that. He got a 'created by' credit but it was a different showrunner, so our worlds weren't overly overlapping like that outside of 'All That' necessarily."

Nonetheless, the comedian from Saturday Night Live believes that the allegations warrant further investigation.
