The family of the late-actor Adrian Schiller has initiated a fundraising campaign to assist his young son in the aftermath of the unexpected death of the 'The Last Kingdom' actor at the age of 60 in his own residence.

The passing of the esteemed actor, renowned for his memorable performances in 'Death in Paradise' and his significant contributions to three seasons of the acclaimed ITV drama 'Victoria,' was disclosed on Thursday by his longstanding representatives at Scott Marshall Partners, who had guided his career for over three decades.

Subsequently, updates were shared from Schiller's social media platform by his sister Ginny, featuring a link to a GoFundMe aimed at gathering contributions for his partner Milena and their young son Gabriel.

At the time of this writing, the fundraiser has exceeded £7,000 in donations within a mere 11-hour span, with numerous contributors expressing their admiration for the actor's impactful performances on stage and screen through heartfelt tributes.

In an update shared on Schiller's profile on X, previously known as Twitter, Ginny conveyed that additional information regarding the actor's funeral arrangements and memorial service will be provided in due time.

"Dear all. This is Ginny. I'm so sorry to let you all know that our beloved brother Adrian died suddenly at home yesterday," she wrote. "He had so many very dear friends - sorry to those of you who are learning about this here. We will say more about funeral and/or memorial plans in due course"
