Kirsten Dunst And Jimmy Kimmel Discuss Their Sons Fight At School: They 'Ended Up In Tears'
Kirsten Dunst and Jimmy Kimmel delved into some personal parental matters during her appearance on Thursday's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' with the conversation turning to a heated incident involving their sons at kindergarten.
'The Civil War' actress and the late-night show host revisited a recent disagreement in their sons' classroom, where both children attend school together. They exchanged differing perspectives on the incident, which involved sharpened pencils and a misunderstanding regarding a chair.
"They had a fight, you know," Kimmel, 56, mentioned regarding his 6-year-old son Billy and Dunst's son, Ennis, who is set to turn 6 next month.
"Oh, I heard in our parent teacher conference," Dunst playfully said.
"I think Billy was sitting in a chair and Ennis then went to maybe sharpen a pencil or something, came back, saw there was an empty chair, sat in it, and then Billy came back and was mad that Ennis was sitting in his chair," the actress, 41, continued.
"I heard a similar story," Kimmel replied, suggesting that it was Billy who got up to sharpen a pencil.
Kimmel humorously remarked on children's fondness for sharpening pencils, suggesting they could be used for "staking claim to your seat." He went on to describe a situation where both boys ended up in tears after some rearranging of seats.

"They both ended up in tears," Dunst said. "It was the only commotion I heard. But they're all very kind boys; they usually get along well in class."
