Malia Obama Flaunts Toned Abs During Afternoon Hike In Los Angeles
Malia Obama took a break from work and enjoyed her downtime with a pal last week.
The former first daughter was spotted hiking with one of her friends in the Hollywood Hills on April 12, per Just Jared. She flaunted her toned abs for the afternoon outing by wearing a black sports bra that showed off her mid-section, and she paired it with matching black leggings. She also wore a lime green cardigan, black sunglasses and a pair of hiking boots by 1017 ALYX 9SM, a luxury streetwear brand.
Malia, 25, is into hiking. In March 2022, she was photographed enjoying the trail with her sister, Sasha, 22. In the snaps obtained by the Daily Mail, Barack and Michelle Obama's daughters both rocked sporty attires for the outing.
Sasha opted for a black T-shirt, which she tied up into a crop top to show off her belly button piercing, and a pair of black workout shorts. Malia, for her part, wore a black Nike sports bra and matching leggings. They both completed their get-up with a pair of black sneakers. In another shot, both were photographed holding a HydroFlask water bottle, probably to hydrate under the heat of the sun while hiking.
Malia was only 10 and Sasha, 7, when the Obamas moved to the White House. According to Obama, in a previous interview with ABC News, his daughters weren't comfortable with the Secret Service when they became teenagers.
"They complained about Secret Service as they became teenagers," the former president explained. "But as you might imagine, if you're a teenager having a couple of people with microphones and guns always following you around, that could grate on them. But they've handled it with grace, and I give Michelle most of the credit for how well they've done."
Malia and Sasha were 18 and 15, respectively, when they left the White House. According to Michelle, the duo celebrated their last night at the White House with pizza and had a slumber party with some friends.
"They had a sleepover, because, of course, on Inauguration Day, because my girls are so normal, they're like, 'Well, eight girls are gonna be sleeping here because it's our last time, and we want pizza, and we want nuggets.' And it's like, really?" Michelle said, per Today.
The former first lady admitted that leaving the house where they resided for eight years was emotional. She added that Sasha and Malia left the "back door in tears" as they bid goodbye to the people they lived with for nearly a decade.
