Casino Games With The Best Odds: Top 5 Easiest To Win Games
A new study by a betting and casino expert ranked the casino games that players are most likely to win.
George Williams of Gambling 'N Go recently analyzed the house edge in several casino games to determine which titles give players the higher odds of winning. According to Williams, the term, also referred to as "casino advantage," is the "mathematical advantage over the player in a given game to ensure that the casino makes a profit."
The house edge shows how much the casino will win on average and which games have the best returns. Simply said, the lower the house edge, the lower the casino's advantage.
"Understanding the house edge is crucial for any gambler looking to maximize their chances of success. Knowing which games offer the most favorable odds can significantly enhance the gaming experience, making it not only more enjoyable but potentially more profitable as well," Williams commented on the results of the study.
With that, here are the top 5 casino games with the lowest house edges and the higher odds of winning.
5. Slots
Slot is a classic casino game where the players rely completely on luck. They spin machines with a series of reels with symbols in the hopes of landing a winning combination.
With a house edge of 2.15%, slots ranked as the fifth easiest casino game to win, per Gambling 'N Go's study.
4. Craps
In craps, players bet on the outcomes from the rolls of a dice. The basic premise of this game involves players betting on whether the "shooter" will roll a specific "point" number before rolling a 7.
This game recorded a house edge of 1.41%, landing it the fourth spot in the list of easiest casino games to win.
3. Baccarat
This casino card game ranked third on the list with a house edge of 1.06%. In baccarat, players bet on which of the dealer's two cards/hands they think will score the highest or will get closest to the value of 9.
2. Blackjack
With a low house edge of 0.50%, Blackjack is named the second easiest casino game to win.
The objective of this popular card game is to have a hand with a total value higher than that of the dealer.
1. Video Poker
Video poker topped the list as the casino game with the highest likelihood of winning, with its low house edge of 0.46%.
This game combines the elements of the traditional five-card draw poker with a computerized console the same as slot machines.
Meanwhile, Hold'em, European roulette, Sic Bo, Caribbean Stud and American roulette took the sixth to tenth spots on the list, with their house edges ranging from 2.36% to 5.26%, respectively.
Per Gambling 'N Go's study, American roulette is the hardest casino game to win, with its house edge of 5.26%. While it is very similar to European roulette, it has additional spinning wheel pockets numbered 0 and 00, which decreases a player's odds of winning.
