Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's children will likely resent them for not getting them close to their royal roots, according to a socialite.

Lady Victoria Hervey, an English aristocrat, actress and producer, weighed in on Archie and Lilibet's possible reaction to their parents' decision to keep them away from the royal family. Several reports claimed that King Charles' wanted to see his grandchildren from the United States, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were taking no action to reunite their son and daughter with their grandfather.

Lady Victoria spoke with GB News and shared her thoughts about the matter. She believes that when Archie and Lilibet grow up, they will "resent the fact" that they do not have connections with their extended family members. She also said that the royals may "also resent" not seeing Prince Harry's kids grow up.

"If it was me, I'd say, well, why didn't you take me to see the Queen?" Lady Victoria told the outlet. "Because there'll be those family photos, right at the family gatherings, and where's Lilibet and Archie? They're not in the pictures."

TV presenter Nana Akua agreed with Lady Victoria and shared her sentiment.

"They'll be asking Harry and Meghan, because when you see family photos, when you're young, you always ask where was I?" Akua said. "And then, obviously, as you get older, you learn about all of this, because it's all on digital, it's not going anywhere. So I don't know what they think they're going to tell their kids when their kids get older, but the kids will not be happy. I would be furious if my parents had done that to me."

She also said that if the current situation continued, the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family would fizzle, and Archie and Lilibet would eventually know what was going on.

"Yeah I agree, I think there's going to be a lot of issues as they get older and become teenagers, they're going to get very resentful," Lady Victoria added.

Meanwhile, royal expert Tom Quinn, a biographer and commentator, also spoke about the same issue with the Mirror. The author of "Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle" said he spoke with a friend of the Sussexes, and the former actress was allegedly worried their kids would blame her for their lack of relationship with the royals.

"A friend of the couple -- one of Meghan's few aristocratic friends from her time in the UK -- told me Meghan does miss some aspects of life in the UK and worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel as adults that they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK as working royals," Quinn said.

The expert noted that it would take time before Markle could return to the United Kingdom because she had already said she would not return there. Also, her pals claimed that she was still furious with the way she was treated when she was in Britain.
