6 Possible Royals Who Invited Rebel Wilson To Drug-Filled 'Orgy,' According To Her Book
Rebel Wilson has claimed that a member of the British royal family allegedly once invited her to a drug-fueled "orgy" a decade ago.
In her new memoir, "Rebel Rising," the 44-year-old Australian actress claimed that the mystery "British royal" invited her to a medieval-themed party in 2014 at the home of an unnamed American tech billionaire just outside Los Angeles, where they allegedly gave out MDMA in the form of candy in preparation for an "orgy." Enstarz could not independently verify Wilson's claims.
Wilson did not name the alleged royal but wrote in her book that the individual who invited her was male and allegedly "15th or 20th in line to the British throne," the Daily Mail reported.
Royal Succession: 15th to 20th In Line
As of 2024, the 15th and 20th in line to the British throne are Queen Elizabeth II's youngest grandchild, 16-year-old James, Earl of Wessex, and the late monarch's great-granddaughter, 11-year-old Isla Phillips, according to the British royal family's website.
James is the son of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, while Isla is the daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips. They would have been 7 and 2, respectively, in 2014.
Falling between them in the line of succession are James' sister Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor (16th), Queen Elizabeth's daughter Princess Anne (17th), Princess Anne's son Peter (18th) and Peter's eldest daughter Savannah Phillips (19th).
In 2014, the 15th and 20th in line to the British throne were Mia Tindall, whom Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed that year, and Princess Margaret's grandson Samuel Chatto, who would have been around 8 at the time.
Considering that no royal family member fits the bill exactly, Wilson's "15th or 20th in line to the British throne" description may have been included simply to indicate that the alleged royal was far removed from the line of succession.
Some social media users trolled Wilson over her claims.
"So that's either the old queen's grandson James, who was 7 at the time, or her great-granddaughter Isla, who was born that year. I think we should be told which it was," one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Another person suggested that the man may have lied to Wilson about his proximity to the British throne, while many others said they were taking Wilson's claims with a grain of salt.
"Wow, that sounds like quite a scandalous claim! It's always interesting when celebrities share their wild stories. However, it's important to remember that these claims should be taken with a grain of salt until there is solid evidence to support them," another user tweeted.
Buckingham Palace has not publicly addressed Wilson's claims.
In her memoir, Wilson alleged that she received a "last-minute invite" to the party, with the unidentified royal telling her they needed "more girls."
Describing the bash as "insane," the actress claimed she saw men "jousting on horses in a field" and women "dressed as mermaids" in the pool at the exclusive gathering.
"I watch the British royal flounder around whilst I continuously hike up my boobs. They are my best physical asset," Wilson wrote.
She said people were given rooms at the property to stay overnight as the house was "quite a drive" from Los Angeles.
Then, after a fireworks display, MDMA allegedly started to be passed around at about 2 a.m., leaving Wilson confused.
The actress claimed she was then told by an unnamed screenwriter, "Oh, it's for the orgy ... the orgies normally start at these things about this time."
"Now the comment by the Windsor about needing more girls started to make a lot more sense. They weren't talking about a boy-girl ratio like it was a year-eight disco. They were talking about an ORGY!" Wilson wrote.
Wilson -- who said she had yet to have her first sexual experience at the time -- claimed she left the party immediately instead of going to the room she was assigned on the property.
"Some of my friends have subsequently told me that I should've just tried the orgy," Wilson admitted. "But that would've been like going from zero to a thousand."
