Matty Healy's Ex Meredith Mickelson Seemingly Reacts To Taylor Swift's 'TTPD' Album In Cryptic Post
Matty Healy's ex-girlfriend, Meredith Mickelson, seemingly reacted to Taylor Swift's newest album.
On April 19, Swift dropped her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," which many speculated contained songs about Healy. Mickelson, who dated the 1975 frontman before Swift, seemingly reacted to the new album in a cryptic post on social media.
Mickelson recently shared a screenshot of a message from her pal named Daniel. The message was dated May 12, 2023, and fell at the height of Healy and Swift's romance, per Life & Style.
"I love u so much," Daniel wrote with a smiley face. "This to [sic] shall pass. Just remember [to] distract urself. Go to a movie tonight or something."
Mickelson covered up the rest of the messages, so there was little context on what it was all about. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed it was sent on the same day Healy was spotted at Swift's concert in Philadelphia. Before that, the musician was also seen at Swift's shows in Nashville.
Healy and Swift briefly dated in 2014. They reconciled in 2023 after the pop superstar broke up with Joe Alwyn. Healy was seen multiple times at Swift's "The Eras Tour" concerts. They were also spotted dating in New York City. Their romance made headlines on May 3, but by June, it fizzled.
Healy was with Mickelson before he reconnected with Swift. She was reportedly blindsided when he ended their relationship in March 2023, weeks after he spent time with the "Anti-Hero" singer at a recording studio in February 2023.

"Things were going well until around March 29 then, out of the blue, he stopped replying to messages and calls," an unnamed source told the Mirror at the time.
"He just ghosted her, and that was it. Then, four weeks later, he went public with Taylor. She was totally blindsided, and, of course, it has stung her a bit. She doesn't want to play the victim and has no intention of saying anything publicly."
Healy also allegedly ended his second shot at romance with Swift in the same way he ended his relationship with Mickelson. He reportedly ghosted the "You Belong With Me" hitmaker.
Many were convinced that Swift's song "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" was about Healy, and it hinted at how the English singer-songwriter and record producer also ghosted her.
"You tried to buy some pills / From a friend of friends of mine / They just ghosted you / Now you know what it feels like," Swift sings in the first verse of the song.
"And I don't even want you back, I just want to know / If rusting my sparkling summer was the goal? / And I don't miss what we had but could someone give /A message to the smallest man who ever lived."
A paparazzo recently caught up with Healy, asking how he would "rate" Swift's "diss track" for him. In the video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Healy gave a diplomatic reaction, which received a thumbs-up from fans.
"I haven't really listened to that much of it," he said. "But I'm sure it's good."
