Several reports suggest the new iPhone 5S will be unveiled on Sept 10 and the phone will showcase new features such as a fingerprint scanner and new iOS7 software.

Many accounts suggest the iPhone 5S will feature a fingerprint scanner, which will replace alphanumerical passwords as a means of providing a more secured way of using the device. iOS developer Hamza Sood discovered a folder within the latest beta for iOS 7 that is titled "BiometricKitUI." The coding in the folder suggests that the display of the new device will have a biometric fingerprint sensor.

The announcement of iOS 7 -- a significant alteration to Apple's mobile operating system --and a host of other features, will make the iPhone 5S Apple's most radical changes to an "S" model iPhone ever. Other features on the new iPhone include what experts say will be a camera with a 13 megpixel sensor, plus Apple Insider uncovered an Apple patent that would transform phone into a sort of pro photo studio with a system to remotely control flashes and other devices.

One of the more important additions to the new iPhone isn't as flashy as the other rumored features: extended battery life. Apple has undoubtedly heard the grumblings of customers whose phones aren't able to stay powered as long as they would like. A long-lasting battery will allegedly be part of the new device as well as rechargeable backpacks.

And even before the iPhone 5S is released, artist like Claudio Guglieri's are imagining new features for what he calls the iPhone 6 Infinity. Guglieri has produced renderings of an iPhone with a display that wraps completely around the device. Take a look at some of his renderings here.
