"The only celebrity I've entangled with, it was two years of him chasing me down before I finally was like, 'OK, let's do something,'" she said. "That was top of 2020, but we met at the beginning of 2018, 2017."

While the rapper reportedly said that their decision to go separate ways was mutual, it was not the case for the "Girls Trip" star.
"It wasn't mutual. It was more him saying, 'I think this relationship has run its course.' And I was like, 'OK. Like you finna be a 50-year-old single man. OK?" Haddish said in a 2023 interview.
After looking at her ex's dating history, the actress said she is not surprised by the timing of their breakup.
"It's every two years. It's like six to nine months single and then two years on [in a relationship] and then six to nine months single and then two years on. That's his schedule. That's his cycle," she claimed.
"I ain't mad at that. There's a gang of old a** men [who are] not famous doing the same thing."
Aside from Haddish, Common was romantically linked to several women, including Kim Jones, Erykah Badu, Taraji P. Henson, Serena Williams and Angela Rye, according to People.
He is reportedly dating Jennifer Hudson at the moment.
Other than Common, Haddish was also romantically linked to other men. She even got married once to her ex-husband, William Stewart. She was also rumored to have had a brief fling with Chingy, according to POPSUGAR.
Talking about moving forward on the road of romance, Haddish said, "I want a partner. I would like for us to have a wedding but not necessarily a marriage contract. I want the party and the relationship. I do not want the license."
Her new book featuring a collection of essays, "I Curse You With Joy," will come out on May 7.
