A Brand New Rap Beef? Fans Think Future And Gunna Are Trading Shots On X
Netizens speculate that there could be a beef brewing between Future and Gunna based on their latest tweets.
The rap beef allegedly started when Future tweeted, "F**k yo album. S**t ain't slappin' like my MIXTAPE," without mentioning whose album he was talking about. But with Gunna releasing new music the same day Future drops his "Mixtape Pluto" on Friday, fans and netizens speculate that his tweet was about the former's new album, "One of Wun.'
Hip Hop All Day replied to Future's tweet and claimed, "Future at war with Gunna."
"Who is this being directed towards?" one netizen asked, to which another netizen responded, "Probably Gunna."
"The rapping industry really be noisy these days," someone else quipped.
A few hours later, the "Bittersweet" artist tweeted, "F*c what these boys talkin' 'bout."
The two rappers' tweets were also shared on Instagram by The Shade Room with the caption: "Looks like #Gunna and #Future are dropping on the same day!"
The reposted tweets drew in various reactions and speculations from more netizens on social media.
"Future jealous of Gunna?" commented one netizen.
"Gunna tired of being humble. As he should. 'Cause why is anybody bothering that man?" wrote another.
"Love Future, but stop playin' with Gunna. He don't miss," said a different commenter.
"OMG. We got Chris vs Quavo, Drake vs the world, Suki vs JT, now Future vs Gunna. Where TF is J. Cole?" quipped another person.
"Let's see if Future can drop bangers without the industry help! GUNNA did that," claimed a different Instagram user.
"Everybody beefing," another user observed.
Based on his recent tweets, Future is making a comeback this Friday with "Mixtape Pluto," but specific details about the album are still unavailable.
Meanwhile, Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, professionally known as Gunna, also previously announced that he will drop "One of Wun."
He recently revealed his upcoming record's tracklist consisting of 20 songs, which sees Offset, Normani, Leon Bridges and Roddy Rich as featured artists.
It also includes his recently released track "Whatsapp (Wassam)."
