Wendy Williams' guardian sold one of her properties, and the transaction was finalized last week, according to a report.

Williams' dream abode -- her apartment in Manhattan -- which she acquired for $4.5 million in 2021, is officially sold. According to documents obtained by The New York Post, Williams was deemed "incapacitated," so a guardian had to be involved in the decision-making process regarding the sale of the property.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse was sold for $3.75 million, $822,000 cheaper than the price she shed to purchase the residence three years ago. The transaction was closed on May 10.

"Wendy's dream has always been to live in Manhattan in a dream apartment but never got a chance to do so. It is a very unfortunate situation," an anonymous source close to the TV host told The Post.

Williams' former house is reportedly over 2,400 square feet and boasts luxurious amenities. It has spacious living and dining room areas, an open kitchen with custom stained walnut cabinetry, granite countertops, and Miele and Sub-Zero appliances.

Aside from the luxurious interiors, the building offers an array of amenities, including a fitness center and a Water Club with a 60-foot lap pool, a sauna, a steam room and a Jacuzzi.

Last year, before the sale, Williams reportedly told pals that she wanted to move to Los Angeles and would be selling all her stuff at the penthouse.

"She was asking how to sell her stuff with 'The Real Real,' but I don't think she's actually moving to Los Angeles," an insider told Page Six in March 2023. "She seems so unwell."

Shawn Zanotti, Williams' rep, confirmed that she was getting rid of her things from the penthouse.

"Wendy is getting rid of items for spring cleaning, this is what people do this time of year," Zanotti said. "It's a new chapter for Wendy, and she wants new things. This is a common gesture people do and Wendy is no different."

Among the things in the penthouse was her iconic purple chair, which her fans loved during her "Hot Topics" segment. There were also furniture and home decor items, which were featured when she filmed her show at home during the lockdown.

Williams was hit with a $500,000 federal tax lien over her unpaid taxes for 2019 and 2021. The lien was generated in January and was recorded with the New York City Department of Finance in February and at the time, there were no signs that she had already dealt with it.

In related news, Williams' ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, alleged that the court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, was stealing money from the TV personality. He made the claims during a court session for renewed alimony payments.

Morrissey was appointed as Williams' guardian following her dementia diagnosis. She argued, however, that Hunter lacked legal entitlement to further remuneration because Williams' income fell below the threshold they previously agreed upon.
