Duke took to Instagram on Thursday where she wrote how her "growth is not feeling the need to address mistruths anymore."

In the post's caption — which has since garnered over 2,000 Likes — tagged the Cincinnati, Ohio, comedian, saying she has always been "kind and cool with you" in the last "3 years."

"I purposely, never make it awkward. I never bother you. I have given you my suggestions on the situation but you don't respect their boundaries. Which is why you discussed this again on social media," she wrote.

She concluded the caption: "I don't know what else to do to help you. Always wishing you well."

After the comments seemingly sided with Owen, 49, Duke returned to the comment section of her post to address the backlash.

"Y'all are wild in these comments. I had no idea. You all would be so mean and judgemental about a situation you don't know about because a celebrity told a story well. Gary knows exactly why his kids are not in contact with him. Not sure why he didn't list a few. He and I just had a conversation about it a week before he taped. It has nothing to do with me, divorce or infidelity," she claimed.

She continued: "I am not sure why any parent would be okay with people talking crazy about their kids when they created the issues or the mother that has try to help (maybe he doesn't feel I have done enough) When all 3 of the kids aren't in contact with a parent something that was traumatic to them happened. No child is waking up to say I don't want to have contact with a parent. I don't think these interviews help the relationship but they do help the narrative a celebrity wants out there."

During his sit-down with Shannon Sharpe, Owen was candid about his infidelity in his marriage to Duke, whom he married in 2003 but divorced in 2021. The 'Think Like a Man' actor also confessed how he dodged service processors during his divorce and his nearly 4-year estranged relationship with his kids.

Owen shares Austin, 23, and Kennedy, 21, with Duke and her son Emilio from a previous relationship whom he considers his own, Atlanta Black Star reports.

Duke also called Owen "a great storyteller... sometimes I get caught up in your versions."

Owen welcomed twin boys; Royal Blu and Rome Bohdi, last year with his fiancée Brianna Johnson. They are 9 months old.

According to a since-deleted post by Duke, Johnson is allegedly the same woman Owen was reportedly cheating with while married to her.

BET.com reported that Duke wrote, "He doesn't financially support his wife. Although he has sent me zero money (from a company I help build) I am still paying his bills. You can have him, but you don't have the money. NOPE!!! Lawyer up, you have now become a big part of this divorce."
