'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Season 16 Cast Revealed: Exits, Returnees And Upgrades
The cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 16 has been revealed.
Shereé Whitfield, a founding member of "RHOA" will exit the franchise ahead of its new season. She previously left the show twice but returned as a guest in Season 13 before going back as a full-time housewife again for Seasons 14 and 15.
Housewives Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross will no longer move forward in the show's next season as well.
Kenya Moore, the "longest-standing peach" on the show, and Drew Sidora are the only housewives from Season 15 who will be returning for the new season.
Joining them will be Porsha Williams after her two-season absence. She announced the good news to her fans via an Instagram reel on Valentine's Day.
"Who said that Porsha Williams is coming back to 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta?' That's false. But Porsha Guobadia is in the building. Haha. See ya!" she said in the video.
Joining Moore, Sidora and Williams for Season 16 are new cast members Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley, according to Bravo TV.
Shamea Morton Mwangi, a long-time friend of the show dating back to Season 5 will join the new season as a full-time housewife.
Housewife Cynthia Bailey of Seasons 3 to 13 will be back as a friend to the new set of housewives.
Production for the new season will begin this month, and its premiere is scheduled for 2025. There is no specific date yet.
"This season brings a new attitude and fresh perspective as the journey continues for these triumphant housewives as they cultivate new friendships and flourish in their careers and social circles," read the press release for the upcoming installment.
While waiting for the 16th season of "RHOA," fans can binge-watch the show's previous installments on Peacock.
The first season of RHOA aired in 2008 on Bravo. It followed the lives of NeNe Leakes, DeShawn Snow, Shereé Whitfield, Lisa Wu-Hartwell and Kim Zolciak.
Its initial broadcast attracted 656,000 viewers.
