Candace Owens Says Diddy Won't Get Arrested Because He's A 'CIA Asset:' 'Kanye Tried To Tell Everyone'
After the horrific video of Sean "Diddy" Combs kicking, striking, and dragging his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel was released last week, a political pundit is speaking out about why the mogul won't be arrested.
Candace Owens quote tweeted the surveillance footage with the caption: "He's not in jail because he's a FED/CIA asset."
Owens, 35, added, "Kanye [West] tried to tell everyone. [woman shrugging her shoulders emoji]."
The author was seemingly referring to the Chicago rapper's interview on the 'Drink Champs' podcast in 2022. West alleged his famous friends did not assist him when Kim Kardashian accused him of abducting their daughter North. Ye name-dropped Diddy and Meek Mill who he claimed could stay out of jail as long as they could antagonize him.
"The reason why you gotta talk is because you did a deal, you f*****g fed," West, 46, alleged. "That's why you gotta come at me cause part of the deal for you to do all of that and get out of jail is that you promise that you're gon' pull my [coattail]."
The political pundit also responded to Diddy's apology video he posted on Instagram on Sunday.
"Great to hear you're sorry, Diddy. Now do Biggie, plus the guy you *allegedly* shot in that bathroom, plus Kid Cudi's car you *allegedly* blew up: And whoever you were *allegedly* shooting at in the nightclub with J-Lo," she wrote. "For starters."
She went to one to write how she'd be "willing to sweep a lot under the rug if you did the first courageous thing in your life and named exactly who is operating the ring in Hollywood."
"Name names," she ended the tweet.
Combs stepped out in Florida Sunday in his first public sighting since the disturbing footage of him beating Cassie surfaced. TMZ obtained a video of the Bad Boy Records' founder going on a stroll in his Miami neighborhood with two associates Sunday.
Asked by a reporter if he was doing OK in the wake of the video of him and Ventura, 37, Combs confirmed that he was by giving the camera a thumbs up.
"Have a good Sunday," the embattled rapper told the reporter.
The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office released a statement regarding the hotel video, which they found "disturbing." However, the office said that the producer couldn't be prosecuted due to the statute of limitations.
"We find the images extremely disturbing and difficult to watch. If the conduct depicted occurred in 2016, unfortunately, we would be unable to charge as the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted." The office, however, encouraged those who suffered from the same abuse or witnessed such incidents to come forward.
