Disgraced Rudy Giuliani Launches $30 Coffee Brand Amid Soaring Legal Fees And Multiple Indictments
Former New York City Mayor and Donald Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is being roasted on social media after the launch of his organic coffee brand amid skyhigh legal fees.
Rudy Coffee, which the 79-year-old vows will be the "best decaf you ever had," will debut with bold, decaf, and "morning coffee" options, all reportedly set to be priced at $29.99 for a two-pound bag, per Atlanta Black Star.
Giuliani is currently facing criminal fraud charges in connection to the scandal surrounding the 2020 election and is reportedly drowning in legal bills following his declaration of bankruptcy in the state of New York last year.
The new coffee brand owner was ordered to pay $148 million in a defamation lawsuit to two former Georgia election workers who sued him over false claims he spread about her and her daughter.
Ruby Freeman claimed she had to leave her home in January 2021 after people showed up with bullhorns and the FBI warned her that she wasn't safe. Freeman, 64, stated she "didn't know if they were coming to kill" her.
"It's so good, I even recommend drinking it black," Giuliani claimed in his promotional video, adding that his coffee uses "100% Arabica coffee beans" and is "roasted right here" in America.
"You will taste the difference!" he exclaimed.
The coffee's packaging is riddled with rhetoric including "fighting for justice," "enjoying life," and "America's mayor," noting that the blends contain non-GMO, low acidity whole beans.
Twitter, now known as X, had a field day with Giuliani's promotional content on social media. Users joked that his coffee smells like hair dye and sweat — a reference to his viral press conference photo — and that everyone associated with Trump, 77, is a "pathetic huckster and grifter."
"How pathetic! Rudy is looking for money to put on his commissary in jail," one user responded. "Who's gonna buy this crap of coffee?" another user asked.
Per CNN Politics, Giuliani and 10 others pleaded not guilty in an Arizona court on Tuesday to charges of allegedly conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
