Kate Middleton's 2024 Diary Is Empty; Princess Of Wales Reportedly Not Making Public Appearances 'For The Rest Of The Year'
Kate Middleton is unlikely to make any public appearances this year as she continues her cancer treatment, according to a report.
The Princess of Wales is not expected to return to her royal duties anytime soon. But this could also mean that royal fans might not see her for the rest of the year because she has no event scheduled in her calendar for 2024, per an insider.
"Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate's diary for this year is empty," an unnamed source told The Daily Beast. "There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year."

Additionally, Richard Eden, editor of the Daily Mail Diary, reported on Thursday that Middleton's friends told him: "We might not see Catherine again until the autumn -- and only then if she has recovered fully."
Since Middleton's return has remained unknown, the insider believes that she might release another video to give her fans an update about her health. This could also be the Palace's way of addressing various theories about her lengthy absence.
"I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health. That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay," The Daily Beast's source continued.
"The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better. They will bail out and be off to Sandringham the moment school breaks up."
Royal expert and historian Rafe Heydel-Mankoo also weighed in on Middleton's future appearances based on the report. He said it was indeed likely that Middleton would not return to the public spotlight this year.
"The Princess of Wales did ask for space and time for her to undergo treatment, and we have to respect those wishes, and not speculate so much, and stick to the facts," Heydel-Mankoo said.
"But actually, the facts do actually back up some of the stuff in this article because, for example, we know that preventative chemotherapy, which is the treatment that the Princess of Wales is undertaking, can take anywhere from three to 12 months. It's normally 4 to 6 months, but it could take up to 12 months, so we mustn't become impatient about or speculate about what's going on here because it could easily be a 12-month period of treatment."
Heyde-Mankoo also previously said that Middleton might skip the Trooping the Colour next month. He noted that there was no mention of Prince William's wife attending the D-Day ceremonies, so he was convinced it would be unlikely to see her at the King's annual birthday celebration.
