Watch Lizzo's Jaw Drop After 'South Park' Named Ozempic-Like Drug After Her On The Show
Lizzo reacted after being subtly featured in an episode of "South Park."
On May 24, the special "South Park: The End of Obesity" premiered. It introduced a faux alternative to the diabetes drug Ozempic, which many, including Hollywood celebrities, use for weight loss. In the episode, the drug "Lizzo" -- named after the musician -- made people feel good about their weight, which is fit for the "Truth Hurts" singer, who advocates for body positivity.
"Guys, my worst fear has been actualized. I've been referenced in a 'South Park' episode," Lizzo says in a video she uploaded on TikTok.
"I'm so scared," she adds before telling her fans she would do a "blind duet" reaction to the name-drop.

The footage from "South Park" showed Sharon telling Sheila that she felt "ashamed" of herself when she saw her husband, Randy, working out and eating less. However, she didn't have the same willpower. So, Sheila asked Sharon if she used Ozempic or Mounjaro to shed her extra pounds. Sharon said her doctor told her the insurance would only pay for those medications if she had diabetes. Sheila wondered how Sharon managed her weight if she couldn't afford those drugs without her insurance.
"Don't you know, Sheila?" Sharon says in a clip from the show. "Now, there's a whole new obesity drug for those of us who can't afford Ozempic and Mounjaro."
"I controlled all my cravings to be thinner with Lizzo," Sharon says as Lizzo (the singer) drops her jaw and covers her mouth.
The parody of the medication commercial begins with the narrator promoting the fake diet suppressor, saying it was FDA-approved and "makes you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90 percent less than Ozempic."

"I lowered my standard and my expectations," Sharon adds.
The parody ad continues, with the narrator saying, "70% of the patients no longer care about how much they weigh" and that the drug "lets you eat what you want and keeps physical activity to a minimum."
The narrator also notes that some patients have reported constipation, prompting Lizzo (the singer) to drop her hand and expose her still-open jaw while watching the show.
The ad mentions the side effects while featuring a character listening to Lizzo's album "Special," prompting the artist to say, "Not the f*****g album!"
The ad concludes with the question, "Are you living with concerns of obesity?" Sharon wraps it up with the statement: "Ask about the power of not giving a f---k with Lizzo!"
"That's crazy. I just feel like damn, I'm really that b---h," Lizzo says when the footage ends. "I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f---k to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f--- I am, and put it on their cartoon that's been around for 25 years."
"And I'm gonna keep on showing you how to not give a f--k," the "Lizzobangers" singer adds before ending the video with her own spin on the faux's commercial jingle.
"South Park: The End of Obesity" is streaming on Paramount+.
