Model Killed After Clothes Get Tangled In High-Speed Train During Photoshoot
Model Cinthya Nayeli Higareda Bermejo dried a tragic death during a photoshoot. She was around 30 years old.
The Venezuelan model was reportedly standing too close to the train tracks in Zacoalco de Torres in Western Mexico for a photoshoot last weekend when her clothes were sucked in by the passing high-speed train, according to The U.S. Sun. She was killed instantly.
After the freak accident, emergency services were reportedly called to the scene and her body was removed from the tracks.
Per Azteca Noticias, the train that killed Bermejo was a freight train. The outlet noted that the model "did not calculate the distance and was hit."
After her body was removed from the tracks, it was transferred to the forensic medical service in Ciudad Guzman, South of Jalisco, for an autopsy and will reportedly remain there until Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a witness at the scene said, "The force apparently managed to pull her clothes towards [the train] and that's what caused her death."
The investigation into Bermejo's death is still ongoing.
