iPhone 5S Release Date: September 10 Debut With 5C?
The iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C may finally have their official debut dates.
Apple is planning on unveiling their newest devices at an event on Sept. 10, according to All Things D https://allthingsd.com/20130810/circle-sept-10-on-your-calendar-for-apples-big-iphone-event/ .
The upcoming releases from the Cupertino based company have seen numerous rumored launch dates. While many speculated that Apple would announce the next update to the iPhone line in June at the World Wide Developers Confrence, the devices failed to materialize. Recent predictions by Peter Misek and KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo pointed towards a fall release date.
The iPhone 5C is widely believed to be the company's new low-cost model. Believed to be priced as a midrange smartphone, the iPhone 5C is rumored to be constructed of plastic and have a slightly bulkier build than the regular iPhone 5.
As for the 5S, the update to the iPhone 5 will include the new iOS 7. With the new operating system, TechRadar believes the options of multiple screen sizes and game-controller support are not far off.
In addition, the 5S will have an upgraded camera, possibly 12-megapixels, according to ExtremeTech. However, the most talked about feature has been the suspected fingerprint scanner, a new addition that could add a whole new level of security to the device as well as transactions.
