Jennifer Garner Blames Jennifer Lopez For Putting Ben Affleck Under Pressure; Ex-Husband Struggles To Keep Up With JLo: Report
Jennifer Garner witnessed how her ex-husband struggled to keep up with his current wife, Jennifer Lopez, according to an insider.
Garner, 52, and Affleck, 51, have remained friends even after their divorce. A new report has claimed that he confides in her amid his troubled marriage with Lopez, even if the latter is against it. Garner allegedly sympathizes with her husband and blames Lopez for putting the father of her kids under pressure. Garner and Affleck share three children -- Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
"Jen would never tell Ben, 'I told you it wouldn't work out,' but she does blame J. Lo for the pressure she's put Ben under," the source told In Touch. "She sees how Ben struggles with keeping up with J. Lo's very public lifestyle."

The insider added that the "Yes Day" actress tried to keep away from Affleck's second marriage and his issues with Lopez. However, she is more concerned about his well-being than what Lopez will feel about him talking to her. Garner reportedly doesn't want to see Affleck slip into his destructive habits, including substance abuse and gambling.
"Jen can't stand by and do nothing. That's not in her nature," the source added. "She has dropped everything to make sure Ben doesn't spiral out of control again. At the end of the day, Ben is still the father of their children, and she will help him however she can."
The source claimed the "Batman" actor has turned to Garner, who is "sensible," for "advice and emotional support." However, the "Let's Get Loud" singer reportedly "hates" it and doesn't want Garner's input. Instead, Lopez prefers Affleck's ex-wife to "stay away" from their personal drama.

Another insider spoke with People and said that the "Miracles from Heaven" actress only "wants the best for" her ex-husband.
"She wants him happy and healthy so he can be the best dad possible," the source added.
The tipster also claimed that Garner "likes that [Lopez] lives a healthy lifestyle and supports Ben's sobriety" because she also wants that same.
Garner and Affleck were last seen together in public on Mother's Day weekend. They were with their two children -- Violet and Samuel. The sighting happened amid rumors that the "Justice League" actor and the "Marry Me" actress already live in separate homes as they are heading for divorce.
