Ben Affleck Allegedly Feels Jennifer Lopez Is Doing 'Mediocre Projects'; Clashed With Her Team: Report
Ben Affleck allegedly does not approve of the quality and quantity of projects that his wife, Jennifer Lopez, has been doing, a report has claimed.
Amid rumors that her marriage to Affleck is falling apart, Lopez announced the cancellation of her summer tour Friday -- just a month before it was scheduled to kick off.
One insider who spoke to The U.S. Sun suggested that Affleck may have had a role in the decision as they claimed the Oscar winner was upset over their clashing schedules.
The unnamed source claimed that Affleck feels Lopez "needs to overhaul her career" and hire "a better team" at this point because her staffers are allegedly all "yes people."
"He has butted heads with some members for a while now, and it's caused tension behind the scenes," the insider claimed of Affleck.
The source added, "He just wants what's best for her and feels she's doing a lot of mediocre projects and is surrounded by yes people who are also sometimes making decisions for her."
According to the insider, Affleck and Lopez have very different "priorities."
The actor reportedly has chosen to limit the number of projects he's taking on, but the "Hustlers" star is allegedly "overworking" and "doing 50 things at once," the source said.
"Even though she has been dedicated to her marriage and kids, she's very busy," the insider added.

Lopez's desire to spend more time with her children and family was cited as the reason behind the cancellation of her "This Is Me...Live" tour.
"Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour 'THIS IS ME...LIVE' is canceled, citing ... 'Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,'" read the Friday announcement in her On The JLo fan newsletter.
The multi-hyphenate icon also wrote in a personal note that she was "completely heartsick and devastated" over the cancellation of her tour, which was slated to start on June 26.
"Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," Lopez wrote. "I love you all so much. Until next time..."
The tour cancellation came as Lopez and Affleck continue to be plagued by divorce rumors.
While they have publicly reunited a few times in recent weeks, reports have claimed that the pair are currently living in separate homes in Los Angeles.
Affleck was also spotted sans his wedding ring and did not make an appearance at the recent premiere of Lopez's new movie, "Atlas."
Lopez and Affleck have not publicly commented on the split speculation, but on Thursday, they put on a united front and held hands as they attended his daughter Violet's graduation ceremony together.
The following day, however, Lopez was seen in photos published by TMZ looking sad as she left a dance studio in Burbank.
