Stormy Daniels On ‘Consensual’ Sex With Donald Trump: ‘I Am Not The One Who Should Be Ashamed’
Stormy Daniels got candid about her alleged sexual encounter with former President Donald Trump.
Trump was tried and convicted of 34 felonies following the hush money trial that concluded last week. The ex-POTUS and his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, reportedly falsified records to conceal the reimbursements Trump made to the latter for the "hush money" that Cohen gave to Daniels to silence her alleged affair with Trump. Daniels -- real name Stephanie Clifford -- clarified that she wasn't a prostitute and the intimate moment between her and Melania Trump's husband was "consensual."
"I was telling the truth that I was not paid for sex. It was not a prostitution job. I was not an escort. I was not a prostitute," she told the Mirror.
"It was consensual. That was one of the biggest things for me, that I'm not a liar."
Stormy, 50, however, admitted that she regretted accepting Trump's invitation for them to meet in his hotel room behind Melania's back in 2006. However, she reiterated that if there was someone who should be ashamed of what happened, it should not be her because she was single at the time.
"If I could go back in time to July 2006, I would not have accepted Trump's invitation to dinner in Lake Tahoe," she explained. "I definitely regret putting myself in that situation, but I am not the one who should be ashamed. I'm not the one who was married, had ulterior motives or was dishonest."
Daniels took the witness stand and testified against Trump at the hush money trial in New York. In her testimony, she recounted how they met at a celebrity golf tournament before the alleged hotel room romp in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
According to her, Trump was "rude" and even pulled out a magazine with his face on the cover. She was hungry and wanted to eat dinner, so she "spanked" him.
"I pretty much had enough of his arrogance and cutting me off and still not getting my dinner," she said. "Someone should spank you with that."
According to her, Trump, who was wearing a black kimono-like garment over a tight black shirt, rolled up the magazine and gave her "a look." She felt that he was daring her to do it, so she "swatted" him on his behind.
"So I took it [magazine] from him, and I said turn around, and I swatted him right on the butt," Daniels told the jurors. "And he was much more polite."
She also claimed in her testimony that at one point, Trump told her she reminded him of his daughter, Ivanka. The ex-POTUS reportedly highlighted the people who underestimated her intelligence.
Meanwhile, Melania, Barron and Ivanka reunited to show their support for Trump after his guilty conviction. The family reportedly gathered at the Trump Tower.
