Kim Kardashian shared photos of herself wearing a lion-inspired outfit, and some followers are not having it.

Last month, North West, daughter of Kardashian and Kanye West, took the stage at the Hollywood Bowl as Simba in their 30th anniversary concert production of 'The Lion King.'

Shortly after the spotlight moment for the 10-year-old, the SKIMS founder took to Instagram to put her own spin on her daughter's moment. She shared pictures of herself dressed in a furry hat — which almost perfectly matched her daughter's costume — and furry leg warmers of the same style.

The entrepreneur is now under fire by fans who think she is trying to push her daughter aside and claim center stage for herself. From the moment the photo was shared, commenters raced to criticize 'The Kardashians' star for the post. One commenter shared, "You couldn't let your daughter have a moment u had to wear it too." Another wrote, "Why can't she ever let anyone have their moment. Always wants to outdo the original."

"So Kourtney was right," another Instagram user wrote. The comment was made in reference to a statement made by Kourtney Kardashian where she accused her sister of never being able to let someone else have a moment that she doesn't take for herself. North West's performance at The Hollywood Bowl was already fraught in the eyes of the internet, as social media users cited nepotism as the reason North secured the role.

A mother whose child also auditioned for the part took to TikTok to share her frustrations with the casting. "While we were waiting in the audition room with one other girl and her mother, someone walked in. It was Kim Kardashian with North West," she alleged. "We heard that there was someone that was in the industry pulling strings to get their daughter in front of the casting director. We found out it was North West on that final audition."

North's appearance in the concert marks the first ever live performance for the child star. She is also releasing a music album, "Elementary School Dropout," which is in reference to her father's 2004 album "The College Dropout."
