Tom Cruise's Daughter Suri Shows Off Toned Midsection While Jogging In NYC Before Meeting Mom Katie Holmes

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 18-year-old daughter was spotted jogging in Central Park on Tuesday morning. In the photos obtained by Page Six, Suri showed off her toned midsection in her white tank top tucked into a sports bra, black biker shorts and a pair of black trainers. She also wore over-the-ear headphones while holding her phone in one hand as she sprinted through the winding walkways.

Later that day, Suri swapped her athletic wear for a flow white sundress and tall brown boots for dinner with her mom in Soho. She also accessorized with a blue tote bag.

She met with Holmes and her grandmother, Kathleen A. Stothers-Holmes, at Sant Ambroeus restaurant. They were joined by the "Dawson's Creek" star's close pal, Michael Fitzgerald. However, Suri arrived and left separately from the group.

Holmes looked chic in her butter-yellow midi dress with her hair in a side-swept braid. She paired her get-up with black socks and wedge sandals and tied a dark denim jacket around her waist. She also accessorized with tortoise sunglasses and a gold drop necklace.

The actress raised Suri largely out of the spotlight. She spoke of her fondly in multiple interviews.

"My main goal is to just let her know how much I love her," Holmes told People in 2014. "Just to let her know that she is so loved. When that's the through line, who cares that my first two pancakes are always burned?"

Suri has been estranged from her dad, Cruise. She grew up with her mom and grandparents, Martin and Kathleen. Last month, she portrayed the role of Philoclea on the stage show "Head Over Heels" in New York and dropped her dad's last name in the playbill.

Suri no longer goes by her birth name "Suri Cruise." Instead, she has opted to use her mom's middle name, so she was listed as Suri Noelle, Hello! reported.

In a previous interview with People, Holmes gushed about her supportive mom and shared how Kathleen was "always willing to fly to me if I need her, and even when I don't." The "First Daughter" star also shared how her girlfriends with kids played a role in raising Suri.

"I lean on them. For advice, for recipes, for all of that stuff: 'What am I supposed to do? Can you come over and watch? Can you be a helping hand?' And I do have help, yes, but ... it's your baby, you know? You want to be the one who is there," Holmes said.

Suri turned 18 last month. Her milestone birthday severed all her remaining ties with the "Mission Impossible" actor, who would no longer be required to pay $400,000 a year for child support.

An unnamed source told the Daily Mail that Cruise "does not exist" to Suri. And now that she's "officially" capable of making her decisions, she doesn't want to rely on him.

"Suri will not have any contact with her father, despite being 18, and even if he called, she would not answer," the source claimed. "He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything."
