Selena Gomez Sets The Record Straight Whether She Had An Affair With RFK's Grandson: 'Never Met This Human'
Selena Gomez is speaking out about rumors she had an affair with President Robert F Kennedy's grandson. Jack Schlossberg is the only grandson of the 35th President.
Several different sources alleged that between the 2020 and 2021, Gomez was romantically involved with the political legacy.
It was a fan account of the mutli-talented artist that elicited her response. The account, Feelings For Sel, re-posted a headline that suggested that their affair had taken place. The actress commented on the post: "never met this human sorry."
The fan account replied, "These rumors are crazy either way love you gurl."
Gomez, 31, has spent a lot of time single during the last few years. After five years, she entered into a relationship with Benny Blanco, a singer and music producer.
The time spent alone for Gomez — according to her — allowed her time to work on her self, her mental health, and find self love.
In an interview with 'TIME,' she was asked if her relationship with Blanco was what allowed her to mitigate the highs and lows of her mental health.
"It's a little irrelevant, only because he isn't my only source of happiness. I was alone for five years, and I got really used to it," she said. "A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it."
Last December, Gomez shared her love to the world and defended Blanco in the comments section of a post saying, "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
