Jennifer Garner Shares Cryptic Post As Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez Fuel Divorce Rumors By Selling Marital Home
Jennifer Garner shared an uplifting poem as the divorce rumors plaguing her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and Jennifer Lopez heat up.
The "Yes Day" actress shared a short poem by Cleo Wade on her Instagram Stories on Thursday. The short poem talks about overcoming adversity and reminds one that whatever they are going through is temporary.
"It gets better / You will not have the blues forever," the poem begins, as shared in the screenshot obtained by Page Six. "Forever/Is the only thing that lasts forever."
"When the night sky falls upon you/Look up at her/see the darkness and the vastness of her blues/hold your eyes steady on her/watch the sun sneak in/see how even she, the great big sky/changes with/the new day." It concluded with a gentle reassurance that "this too shall pass."
The outlet noted that the 52-year-old actress didn't add any caption to the post. She simply tagged the poet along with a red heart emoji.
Garner hasn't commented on the rumors about Affleck and Lopez's marital woes. However, the "Gone Girl" actor and "Marry Me" actress continued to fuel the split rumors by selling their $60 million marital home, which many took as a sign that their divorce was imminent, per TMZ.
Multiple sources told the outlet that J.Lo and Affleck tapped realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to sell the property, which they purchased over a year ago. The celebrity couple spent nearly two years looking for their dream house.
However, weeks ago, the "Batman" star was spotted coming and going to the same house he reportedly rented in the Brentwood neighborhood near his ex-wife Garner's home. The exes co-parent their three kids - Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. Affleck hasn't been seen in his marital home with Lopez.
Prior to the report that Affleck and Lopez were selling their dream house, the property appeared on a realtor's website. The $60 million mansion was uploaded to Zillow on June 1 and June 5. However, it was listed as "sold."
Its mere appearance on the site fueled the divorce rumors. One source even said they were already living separately and would soon sell their marital home.
"Ben already moved out, and they'll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted," the source said of Lopez and Affleck's marriage.
