Brad Pitt is winning his legal battle against his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, but she's ahead in their family war, according to a source.

Pitt, 60, and Jolie, 49, have been separated for eight years already. However, their legal battle is far from over, as the exes are feuding over selling her shares in their $350 million vineyard in France without his consent. The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star has scored several victories in court, but the "Maleficent" actress has reportedly won their kids, and this upsets Pitt, according to a source.

"It's extremely upsetting," the unnamed source close to Pitt told Page Six. "She has used the kids as a weapon against Brad ... she has separated them from him."

The source continued, "There is a whole pattern: Any time he has a win in court, she hits back with something to do with the kids."

The outlet noted that Pitt won a 50-50 custody agreement, and a few weeks ago, the family's former security guard, Tony Webb, alleged that she encouraged their kids not to spend time with their dad. And now, their first biological child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, filed to legally drop her dad's "Pitt" surname on her birthday.

"Reasonable people should draw their own conclusions as to who was actually behind it," the insider added.

However, another unnamed source told Entertainment Tonight that Jolie couldn't speak for Shiloh's legal move because the latter "hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself."

A different source told Us Weekly in 2021 that Maddox wanted to do the same, but Jolie was not supportive of his plan to drop his dad's family. However, Maddox has stopped using Pitt's last name since 2021.

Jolie and Pitt's 15-year-old daughter Vivienne also dropped his last name and was only listed as "Vivienne Jolie" in the playbill for the Broadway musical "The Outsiders." Her twin brother, Knox, still uses their dad's family name.

Zahara, 19, also ditched her dad's family name when she introduced herself to the AKA sorority at Spelman College in November. Pax, 20, also made an explosive rant against Pitt on Father's Day 2020. He called the "Babylon" star a "despicable person."

"Happy Father's Day to this world class a-hole!! You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person," he wrote. "You have no consideration or empathy toward your 4 youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence."

Meanwhile, another source told People that Pitt was "aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name." He was also reportedly in pain as he reflected on his strained relationship with his children.

"The reminders that he's lost his children is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad," the insider said.
