Wendy Williams' Best Friend Speaks Out About Her Unusual Silence After Vanishing From The Public: 'Talking Is Wendy's Life'
Wendy Williams' silence is raising some concerns.
The TV personality, who has been struggling with mental health, addiction and health issues for years, has been in-and-out of the public eye since June 2022.
According to the 'Atlanta Black Star,' Williams' best friend of 44 years, Regina Schell, explained the woman she knows would not hide from attention for any length of time.
She believes that Sabrina Morrissey, Williams's guardian, is keeping the former TV host from her friends and family. Schell also accuses Morrissey of preventing Williams from receiving proper medical care.
Schell told 'The U.S. Sun' how "Talking is Wendy's life, her whole claim to fame is talking, and I don't think she would be this quiet unless she was forced to be quiet. Where is Wendy and why is no one asking that question? And why is no one answering that question? Why can't they produce Wendy, or an actual statement from Wendy, or a picture of Wendy? Where is Wendy?"
According to reports, Morrissey says that Williams, 59, is in a rehab facility. Those close to Williams allege they do not know the location of the facility.
Schell also claimed Morrissey was slow to bring Williams food and would not assist in what she needed.
As a friend who was once in constant contact with the mother of one, the lack of communication continues to gives rise to concern. Schnell posited that Willaims is "somewhere that she can't reach a phone because Wendy can always get to a phone, because if she could get to a phone, she'd be calling me."
She continued: "I think she should be surrounded by family and friends and people who love and support her, instead of some stranger who has her who knows where."
