Rihanna confidently flaunted her naturally curly hair during an outing in New York City, a stark contrast to the recent controversy surrounding her purported choice to wear wigs in advertisements for Fenty Hair.

During a leisurely stroll on Sunday, the entrepreneur engaged with fans and posed for photographs. Her natural curls were prominently on display as she happily interacted with autograph seekers.

Last week, Rihanna unveiled her latest venture, Fenty Hair, scheduled to release on June 13. Sharing a trailer on Instagram, she exclaimed, "A new family is moving in!" and declared, "@fentyhair is pullin up and it's time to finally have the hair experience you've been waiting for."

"How are you promoting a hair line with a wig on?" one person asked. Another wrote, "So yall putting yall hair in Rihanna hands. .... Make her show yalll what the products have done for her first lol."

Some individuals drew comparisons between Rihanna's promotional campaign and Beyoncé's recent launch of her hair care line earlier this year named Cécred.

"I love Rihanna DOWN but if Beyonce shot her ad for Cecred in a 28 piece quick weave y'all would've had think pieces on CNN. #FentyHair," one fan commented on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Fenty Hair will expand the singer's extensive portfolio of Fenty-branded goods, which encompasses cosmetics, lingerie and fragrances.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the 36-year-old's new ventures, fans continue to clamor for a follow-up album to 'Anti,' released back in 2016.

The Barbados beauty has been busy being a mother to her two sons; Rza, 2, and 9 months old, with partner A$AP Rocky.
