Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Circle Is ‘Getting Smaller’ As A-Listers Continue To Snub Them: Royal Expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are left with a few friends as several don't want to be associated with them anymore, according to a source.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were very popular when they moved to the United States from the United Kingdom in 2020. However, things have changed, and their A-list Hollywood pals and other famous friends are allegedly keeping them at arm's length, including Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham and more, leaving them with a smaller social circle.
"Harry and Meghan's circle is getting smaller and smaller. I think the A-list stars are dropping like flies. Some already have done -- Oprah no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dumped them," former royal butler Paul Burrell told Closer.
"Back in the day, the A-listers were riding on the moment -- Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time, when they got married, but there's since been a decline."
Burrell said Prince Harry and Markle's celebrity pals were keeping distance because the two were no longer royalty. Also, the Sussexes trashing the royal family in their interviews, docuseries "Harry & Meghan" and his memoir "Spare" painted them in a bad light.
"Americans love the Royal Family, but are starting to understand that they are not part of the Royal Family -- they are a side show, not a main event," Burrell continued.
Previous reports claimed that Prince Harry and Markle were close to the Beckhams. However, their friendship allegedly ended when Prince Harry called David and accused his wife of leaking stories to the press.

Markle still wears Victoria's brand, but the former Spice Girls member is determined to move on from the drama. She didn't even invite the Sussexes to her star-studded 50th birthday, which allegedly left Markle "very upset." Meanwhile, King Charles was photographed meeting David after he declined to see his own son when he flew to England in May.
"Meghan's been shocked by how Vic seems to have given her the cold shoulder -- even reaching out herself when her team received no response when requesting a dress," a source told Closer.
"Meghan has been told that both Victoria and David may have disapproved of how she and Harry have behaved over the last few months and Meghan has noticed Vic pulling back, but never expected her to freeze her out like this. She feels personally ghosted by Victoria and feels that the relationship is now broken beyond repair."
George and Amal didn't invite them to their Albie Awards in October. On the other hand, their neighbors, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, reportedly snubbed Archie's 5th birthday. However, the "Roar" singer and the "Lord of the Rings" actor were reportedly present at Lilibet's 3rd birthday with their daughter Daisy, earlier this month.
Prince Harry and Markle have remained close to his royal cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. However, the Princesses of York have recently stepped up to support Prince William amid Kate Middleton and King Charles' cancer diagnoses. Prince Andrews's daughters were spotted with their cousin, Zara Tindall, at a Buckingham Palace garden party hosted by the Prince of Wales earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Prince William are still not on speaking terms. The Duke of Sussex even skipped the Duke of Westminster's wedding last week, where his big brother was invited to be among the ushers. Ingrid Seward, a royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, claimed that between the two brothers, the groom's priority to be at his big day was the heir apparent.
