Ben Affleck Steers Clear Of Jennifer Lopez At Son's Graduation Despite Wearing Their Wedding Rings

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were spotted attending a family event but kept their distance from each other.

The Hollywood couple recently attended the graduation ceremony of Samuel, Affleck's son with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. However, they reportedly kept their distance from each other by staying with their separate families, TMZ reported.

J.Lo was in the company of her twins, Emme and Max, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. She also reportedly pulled up earlier than Ben, who arrived with his mom at Wednesday's event.

Despite arriving and exiting separately, Affleck and Lopez reportedly wore their wedding bands, according to People.

Before this event, the two put on a united front when they attended the graduation of Ben's daughter, Violet, in May, and they even held each other's hands.

Last month, the "Gigli" co-stars also shared a kiss on the cheek when they went to support Samuel during his basketball game.

Per an insider, the two celebrities remain "friendly" amid the divorce rumors surrounding them, noting, "They're still friendly and see each other every few days."

Amid marital woes and divorce rumors, the pair seemed to still enjoy each other's company. On Monday, E! News co-host Justin Sylvester said on "Today with Hoda & Jenna's" "The Scoop" segment that he saw Bennifer "at dinner two weeks ago."

"How do I say this on daytime TV? They looked like they still are enjoying one another," Sylvester told the hosts, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

"They looked like they were happy at a restaurant. They were chilling. He was his normal broody self. She was talking his ear off. Like, they looked like they were in good form."

Meanwhile, a celebrity manager and publicist named Mayah Riaz suggested that the divorce rumors surrounding the couple could just be a distraction so the public wouldn't notice the "Let's Get Loud" artist's alleged career downfall.

"It is not uncommon for celebrities to face speculation and rumors, particularly during challenging times in their careers. Divorce rumors or personal life distractions can sometimes be used as a strategy to divert attention from any professional setbacks," she said.
