Prince Harry ‘Lost His Place Among Britain’s High Society’ While Fans Praise Prince William In His ‘Statesman Era’
Prince Harry has remained at odds with his family and "can't take it anymore," according to an insider.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were invited to the Duke of Westminster's wedding last week, but they declined. Prince William was at the same event and was one of the ushers. According to an unnamed source, Prince Harry has seemingly lost his place in Britain's high society.
"The reality is he's lost his place among Britain's high society," the anonymous tipster told In Touch.
The outlet noted that the wedding came weeks after Prince Harry flew to the United Kingdom to attend a special service for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, and King Charles couldn't meet him due to his busy schedule.
"There are some days when Harry says he can't take it anymore -- the slights, the coldness coming from the palace, it's like he's no longer a part of that family," the source said before adding that his "worried" wife, Meghan, "seems to be his only anchor these days."
Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, is close to King Charles and his two sons. He is even a godfather to Prince George and Archie. However, the groom's priority on his special day was reportedly the heir apparent, who was assigned to be one of the ushers. Since the Sussexes are not on speaking terms with the Prince of Wales, many believed it would be awkward to see them in one event. This could explain why the Sussexes came up with "a delicate decision" and "respectfully declined" the invitation.
"William and Harry aren't even close to a truce. William hasn't forgiven Harry for what he said in his book," the source continued.
The outlet also pointed out that whenever a choice had to be made between Prince William and Prince Harry, the heir apparent would always win. Even some of their pals reportedly "don't talk to him [Prince Harry] out of loyalty to the royal family," leaving the "extremely sensitive" Prince Harry isolated and lonely.

"Harry's been forced to step back from many of his former friendships, including with Hugh," the insider added. "It only serves to remind him where he fits into the royal scheme of things. He's been relegated to the back of the room."
While Prince Harry was allegedly sad about the turn of events, his big brother received a thumbs-up for stepping up and entering his "statesman era." Royal fans were happy with how the Prince of Wales handled engagements and carried himself on the world stage. Just recently, he made his most high-profile role by representing the King and Britain at the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings on Omaha Beach in France, and his supporters were very proud of him.
"Dude, Prince William is a whole statesman and rock star in one," one wrote on social media.
