Is Kate Middleton Receiving Cancer Treatment At A Houston Hospital? Royal Family Breaks Silence On Rumors
The British royal family has shut down a new rumor about Kate Middleton's cancer treatment and whereabouts.
This week, a Kensington Palace representative told the Houston Chronicle that the Princess of Wales is not undergoing chemotherapy at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
According to the outlet, the hospital would not confirm whether or not Middleton underwent treatment there, citing patient privacy laws.
In March, Middleton broke her silence on the rumors swirling about her whereabouts when she released a video message announcing she'd been diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer and was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

She did not say where she was getting treated after being discharged from London Clinic, the private hospital where she underwent abdominal surgery, in late January.
Since then, no new photo of Princess Kate has surfaced, and the royal family and palace have provided few updates on her condition.
In late May, People reported that Middleton was seen stepping out with her family and running errands solo in the U.K. amid her treatment but did not include a new picture of Prince William's wife.
This revived the speculations and conspiracy theories about Middleton which included the suggestion that she has not been photographed in the U.K. because she is not in the country.
Earlier this week, a popular post on Reddit claimed that Middleton was spotted at the St. Regis Houston hotel over the weekend.
"Was visiting friends at the St. Regis this weekend and they had spoken of her being at the hotel. Has anyone else heard this? Assuming she would be here for treatment. Hoping for the best outcome for the family," read the post, which did not provide a picture or anything else to back up the claim.
While the claim remains unconfirmed, some Reddit users said they would not be surprised if Middleton was seeking treatment at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, which has treated many celebrities and notable figures and, according to its website, has been ranked one of the nation's top two hospitals for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report since 1990.
"I wouldn't be shocked. When my mom was in treatment at MD Anderson she met a handful of 'influential' people/their spouses who were also being treated. I'm not talking internet influencers, I mean shahs/royalty/diplomats. And she was only there for 18 months," one Reddit user commented on the post.
The user added, "So I'd imagine it's a possibility that [Princess Kate] is here being treated. Either way, I hope she gets through it and comes out healthy and cancer-free."
Another commenter wrote: "This is likely due to the use of proton therapy. This is why the patient has to be moved to the treatment center, rather than doctors moving to the patient. The UK does not appear to have great proton therapy."
"It wouldn't be at all odd for her to come for treatment, a second opinion or to have her treatment regimen set by them, then have it administered in the UK," a third person suggested.
