Gisele Bündchen Blames Ex Tom Brady After Joaquim Valente Romance Fizzles But He Refuses To Take Responsibility: Report
Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are no longer together, and Tom Brady doesn't want to take the blame for their separation, according to an insider.
Sources previously claimed that Bündchen and Valente started dating in June, but their romance fizzled. The Brazilian supermodel allegedly blamed her ex-husband, Brady, for the split.
"The spotlight was too much for him," an unnamed source told In Touch. "Joaquim's a regular guy. He's not used to all the attention he was getting."
The tipster claimed that Brady's Netflix roast worsened the matter because some comedians targeted the jiu-jitsu instructor in their jokes.
"Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that," the source said.
"She blames the break on Tom," the tipster continued. "By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim's back."
In Netflix's "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady," several comedians grilled Brady for his divorce and career. For instance, Kevin Hart made fun of Bündchen's relationship with Valente following her divorce from Brady.
"You understand, you sometimes gotta f**k your coach. You know who else f****d that coach? Gisele. She f****d that karate man," Hart joked.
Meanwhile, another insider claimed that Brady refused to take responsibility for how his ex-wife's romance ended. The Super Bowl champion reportedly had no plans to "sabotage" Bündchen's relationships.
"Tom feels like he should take no blame for Gisele's relationship successes or struggles," a source told the Daily Mail. "He is away from it and isn't trying to sabotage anything."
The insider added that the former NFL superstar wanted to get to a "healthy and happy" place with his ex-wife as they co-parent their two kids -- Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.
"It serves him nothing to try to harm or disrupt any type of relationship she ever has. He doesn't feel he should be blamed at all," the source continued.
Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years before they announced their divorce in October 2022. Two weeks after they publicized their split, the fashion model was seen with Valente.
Although insiders claimed their relationship only started in June 2023, other sources alleged Brady believed their romance started way before their divorce.
"They should add 2021 after June. Then the headline would be accurate," one anonymous insider said of the timeline of Bündchen and Valente's romance.
