Princess Charlotte was a huge help to her mom, Kate Middleton, when the latter made her first public outing since announcing her cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales made her return to the public at Trooping the Colour. She was seen on the balcony with her three children -- Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. Angela Levin, royal commentator and biographer, praised Princess Charlotte for handling her brothers as a way to "look after her mother," even calling her "extraordinary."

"I think she was doing that on her mother's behalf so that her mother can be there. She adores her mother, so she just really wants to help out," Levin told Nana Akua when she appeared on GB News. "George is fine. He just sat there, but I thought it was very moving to see them as a family again."

"Princess Charlotte went with it very well. Charlotte is an extraordinary child," she added of Prince William and Middleton's daughters. "When they were coming back, she was wiping the windows so that everyone could see, with her hand getting rid of the rain. She's fantastic. And she was waving to both sides."

She also noted how, at one point, Princess Charlotte "told Loui off" for being playful at the event. Per Levin, the Prince and Princess of Wales' only daughter was "having a great time" caring for their family.

"She was having a great time, and she looked after Louis. She told him off when he was doing a little jig at one point, and when he wasn't sitting properly, and she kept calling him to order, and it was absolutely hilarious," Levin added.

A lip reader shared the conversation between Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis while they were on the balcony. Princess Charlotte allegedly told her younger brother to stop when he started dancing as the Scot Guards marched.

"You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade," Princess Charlotte told Prince Louis, per lip reader Nicola Hickling. "I won't," the younger royal reportedly responded.

"Do as you're told," Princess Charlotte said. "Nope," Prince Louis replied.

Meanwhile, many were delighted to finally see Middleton in the flesh after she had been away from the public spotlight for months amid her health battle. She had abdominal surgery in January and announced her cancer diagnosis in March. However, the sighting sparked debate on social media, with some alleging that they might have only seen the Princess of Wales' body double.

"The Kate body double. This is not Kate Middleton," one claimed.

Another added, "That's definitely not her! Her face does not have the contour and sharpness that this replacement does! Those poor children know!"

Meanwhile, several shut down the body double speculations. For them, it was evident that the woman was Middleton.

"Kate Middleton has been missing for months. But don't worry -- here she is! It's definitely NOT a body double," one argued.

"She's real Prince Kate Middleton, I watch the ceremony live and she's really getting better from cancer," another person opined.
