Princess Beatrice Spotted Flying Economy, Carrying Her Own Luggage On Trip To France
Princess Beatrice was spotted boarding a low-cost airline recently.
The 35-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson kept it simple when she recently flew to the 2024 Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes, France. According to Page Six, Her Royal Highness took an EasyJet -- the U.K.'s popular low-cost airline -- flight and carried her own luggage.
In the photos obtained by the outlet, the Princess was captured at the London Luton Airport in her dark blue outfit while boarding EasyJet and carrying her luggage with her right hand.
"That's pretty cool to see royalty flying economy and carrying their own bags," commented one social media user on X, formerly Twitter.
The Princess seems to be low-maintenance compared to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who used Onyema's Air Peace to fly from Abuja to Lagos as part of their three-day tour of Nigeria in May.
At the time though, the Sussexes' original plans did not involve flying Air Peace but had to switch to the airline due to an undisclosed reason.
On Monday, Princess Beatrice spoke as a member of the "Spotify Beach" panel at the festival and talked about emotional intelligence in the AI age and her dyslexia diagnosis.
"Technology, in general, really gave me a space to really be myself... You know, I got dyslexia, [so] I always was fascinated by how things worked, that was the way that my brain worked. I was a very visual learner," she said.
"It doesn't matter where you're coming from, what you're doing. If you can deliver... that for me is the most exciting thing about the technology sector."
"It's a wonder to behold, the moment to be with each other, and we are reminded that some of these most important conversations have to happen with human-to-human interactions," she added.
The 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity runs from Monday to Friday to "celebrate the world's best work" in the advertising and communications industry.
