President Joe Biden's cognitive fitness has been called into question once again after he appeared to freeze and seemingly had to be led offstage by former President Barack Obama during a recent event.

On Saturday night, Biden appeared at his reelection campaign's Los Angeles fundraiser, which featured Obama, Jimmy Kimmel, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and many other celebrities and notable figures.

While the event managed to raise a record sum of $30 million, what caught the attention of critics and supporters alike was an awkward moment involving Biden, 81, and Obama, 62, onstage at the Peacock Theater.

In a now-viral video shared by The Hollywood Reporter's Chris Gardner, the current and former presidents could be seen waving and smiling at the audience after their moderated interview with Kimmel.

Biden could initially be seen holding a hand up and then clapping while facing the side.

However, after he turned to the front, Biden stood completely still for several long seconds, while Obama continued to wave and point to people in the audience.

As seen in the footage, it was only after Obama grabbed Biden's arm and gently pulled it toward him that the current president moved again and began to exit the stage.

Obama placed a hand on Biden's back and kept it there until they both left the stage.

The video fueled the speculation that Biden is not fit to serve a second term in the White House and is in serious mental decline -- which the president and White House have repeatedly denied.

"This isn't normal," one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter, while another commented, "Biden looks lost [and] frozen."

Another person suggested, "The video looks as if Biden was president 20 years ago, and a current President Obama invited him to a gala to honor his past."

"First president in history to need someone to lead him around," another critic wrote.

However, some Biden supporters insisted that haters were blowing things out of proportion.

"I don't see a problem with Biden in this clip," one person tweeted.

Another person suggested that the video simply showed what "looks like a friend, saying, 'Hey, let's move on.'"

One X user posted a different angle of the moment and insisted that the claims Biden "froze" and had to be ushered off stage by Obama were "false."

This came less than two weeks after Biden also sparked concern over his appearance at the D-Day commemoration ceremony in Normandy, France, earlier this month.

At the time, Biden was captured on video awkwardly freezing as he was about to sit on a chair onstage.

The president hovered in that position for several moments as his wife, first lady Jill Biden, covered her mouth.

In February, Biden's physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor declared him to be "a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old male, who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency" following the president's annual physical.

According to ABC News, Biden, who is the oldest U.S. president to date, also told reporters at the time that "everything's great" health-wise.
