Travis Scott Arrested In Miami For Trespassing And Public Intoxication, Responds To Charges With One Word Tweet
Travis Scott was recently arrested in Miami, according to reports.
The 33-year-old, born Jacques Bermon Webster II, was apprehended at the Miami Beach Marina for reportedly being publicly intoxicated. He was also charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct due to his alleged drunken behavior and taken to a nearby jail.
His mugshot was uploaded to the jail's website soon after his arrest.
An arrest affidavit from the Miami Beach Police Department, obtained by 'The Hollywood Reporter,' confirmed that the arrest took place at 1:44am.
According to the police report, after being warned to leave the dock, Scott, 33, allegedly "yelled obscenities" while walking backward from the yacht. He eventually got into his car to drive away.
However, the affidavit notes that "the defendant returned approximately 5 minutes later, with Officer Rodriguez observing the defendant walking back toward the vessel." Scott allegedly "began yelling once again, becoming erratic, disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings," leading to his arrest.
"The defendant later admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and stated 'It's Miami,' " the affidavit revealed. At 4:35am, Scott was processed into jail and later freed after posting a $650 bond.
This morning, the Houston, Texas, native tweeted a seemingly one-word response to his new charges.
The last time the Cactus Jack Records' founder was in trouble with the law was in 2021. The Astroworld concert tragedy, which claimed the lives of 10 attendees and left numerous others injured, resulted in dozens of class action lawsuits. According to the 'Associated Press,' 9 of the 10 lawsuits have been settled.
