Ben Affleck Finally Opens Up About Jennifer Lopez Marriage, Explains Why He's 'Always Mad' In Public
Ben Affleck has shared some rare insight into his marriage with Jennifer Lopez after weeks of being plagued by divorce rumors.
Affleck sat down with Kevin Hart for a wide-ranging interview in the Season 4 premiere of Peacock's "Hart to Heart," where the actor-director opened up about what it's like being married to his superstar wife.
According to the Oscar winner, while he may be one of Hollywood's biggest stars, his wife's fame was on another level.
"We went somewhere with [Jennifer] -- I can't remember because she's so famous, and she creates this -- people love her, and she really represents something important to people," Affleck told Hart.
"[To me,] people are like, 'Hey, I like your movie,' and then they're like 'Aaaahhhh! J-Lo!'" he recalled. "It's amazing, you know what I mean?"

Affleck shared that even walking through Times Square in New York City caused "f****n' bananas" reactions from people toward Lopez.
While Affleck did not talk about the current state of their marriage, the "Justice League" star did say he is not a fan of some things that come with their level of fame.
Affleck explained that he often looks frustrated in paparazzi photos because he was "a little bit shy" and did not want cameras capturing his every move.
"I don't like a lot of attention. This is why people see me, and they're like, 'Why is this dude always mad?' Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I'm like, 'OK, here we go,'" he told Hart.

Several images and videos of the actor looking dejected have gone viral over the years, spawning the "sad Affleck" memes on social media.
Affleck made headlines last year after cameras at the 2023 Grammy Awards captured him seemingly looking miserable and getting scolded by Lopez.
However, the "Argo" director later told The Hollywood Reporter that he had a good time with Lopez at the ceremony, where his wife presented an award.

More than a year later, Affleck and Lopez's marriage has become the subject of widespread speculation after news broke that he moved out of their marital home and was living in a rental.
Affleck and Lopez's Beverly Hills mansion has since been put up for sale, with the singer having been spotted house-hunting in Los Angeles.
The couple has yet to address the reports that they have been living separately, but they have reunited since the rumors began to attend events together, including his daughter Violet's high school graduation.
