Meghan McCain is calling out Jennifer Lopez for her alleged diva behavior on "The View."

During Friday's episode of her podcast "Citizen McCain," the political commentator -- who was a co-host on "The View" from 2017 to 2021 -- claimed that Lopez was "not nice" and brought along a massive entourage during her visits to the daytime talk show.

"She just is a deeply unpleasant person," McCain alleged. "She had the biggest entourage I've ever seen. More than Kim Kardashian and the president. I just don't really understand why it was needed."

McCain went on to claim of Lopez, "She was not nice. You don't always have to be so nice, but it was surprising that people like Kim Kardashian couldn't be more delightful. When you're coming on a show for a 10-minute segment... just fake it till you make it for 10 f**king minutes."

But reality TV producer Carlos King, who appeared as a guest on the podcast episode, said he had a very different experience with Lopez when he met her in 2001.

According to King, Lopez was "so nice" and "didn't have a big entourage" at the time.

The producer also described Lopez as a "hard worker" who gave her all during performances, even declaring the multihyphenate's Las Vegas residency as one of the "top five shows" he'd ever seen.

However, McCain and her co-host Miranda Wilkins claimed in the episode that Lopez showed alleged diva behavior beyond her "The View" appearances.

According to McCain, the "On the Floor" hitmaker allegedly had a TikTok video of the two co-hosts criticizing Lopez on their podcast taken down in April, though it has since been restored on the platform.

But the New York Post pointed out that TikTok's reporting process is anonymous, so there is no concrete evidence supporting their claim that it was Lopez who had the video removed.

In the TikTok clip, McCain said Lopez was "in a PR mess" and claimed that the "Hustlers" actress had one staffer whose "entire job it was to hold up a mirror with lights while they were touching her up backstage."

"I remember being like, 'That poor man. What a weird job,'" McCain added.

Lopez has not addressed McCain's claims and accusations.

However, the entertainer has spoken about being perceived as a "diva" in the past.

During a 2019 GQ interview, Lopez said she was unfairly dubbed a diva "because I was Latin, and I was a woman, and I was Puerto Rican, and they were not giving me the same pass that they gave everybody else at certain times."

But the singer-actress admitted there's "some truth" to her manager Benny Medina's comments that she doesn't always "come off as warm" to others.

"I'm incredibly impatient. I want everything now. It's hard for me to tolerate a slow pace. I get annoyed with it. I don't like the word 'no,'" Lopez explained.

However, Lopez also noted there's a "double standard" when it comes to how men and women with this type of personality are treated.

"I think it's funny that Benny said that. Meanwhile, he can do the same type of things and people are like, 'Oh, well, he's a man and, and he can say things however he wants. He's the boss,'" Lopez said in the interview. "But I'm the boss, and if I am not careful with people's feelings, then I'm not nice."
