Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Living Separate Lives May Have Changed Their Dynamics, Expert Claims
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have spent some time apart, and it might help them amid their rumored marital woes, according to a relationship expert.
Lopez and Affleck have been plagued by split rumors since they have been living separately. The "Let's Get Loud" singer also recently flew to Italy for a solo vacation while the "Gone Girl" star remained in Beverly Hills and bonded with his children. Following her return to Los Angeles, Affleck, who ditched his wedding ring while she was away, was spotted with the accessory when they reunited.
Life and heartbreak coach Manj Bahra weighed in on the couple's dynamics. According to him, the time from each other may have helped them figure out if they wanted to be together.

"Don't be surprised if there is a twist to this tale. Space can often do wonders for a relationship that has suffered constant public scrutiny," the expert told the Daily Mail. "It is possible that time apart has helped the two re-establish priorities and revisit what brought them together in the first place. This most recent setback may only have made them stronger in their conviction of wanting to be together. "
However, he also said they might have talked to finalize things. He noted that Affleck wearing his wedding band can be "misleading."
"With that said, we can't rule out this wasn't some kind of final talk to confirm things," he added. "The presence of a wedding ring can often be misleading."
Another source told the outlet that both Lopez and Affleck have offices in the same building. They likely had a meeting.

The "Justice League" actor was seen in West Hollywood on Wednesday. He rocked a navy blue suit and white button-up shirt with his wedding ring on when he entered the building. Hours later, Lopez was seen leaving the same premises.
"Ben and Jen are aware that their fans are paying attention to see if they're wearing their rings or not," the source told Entertainment Tonight. "They're trying to be as amicable as possible. They still want the best for everyone involved, including their kids, the rest of their families, and shared friends."

While some were hoping that the A-list Hollywood couple would stay together, Jacqueline Newman, a managing partner at the matrimonial law firm Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein LLP, said that they might have already signed the divorce papers as they were "dropping hints about their marriage ending."
