Shannon Sharpe Apologizes To Megan Thee Stallion For Sexual 'Quarter To Three' Comments [Video]

Shannon Sharpe apologized to Megan Thee Stallion on "Club Shay Shay" for making sexual remarks about her on his podcast last year.

The "Hot Girl Summer" rapper, 29, was Sharpe's guest on Monday's episode of his "Club Shay Shay" show, and the NFL icon took the opportunity to issue a face-to-face apology to her.

Sharpe faced backlash from Megan's fans last year over his comments about a hypothetical sexual encounter with the rapper.

"I'd have her stretched out like a quarter to three," Sharpe said of Megan in a November 2023 episode of his podcast, "Nightcap," with co-host Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, as seen in a clip obtained by TMZ.

"I do it three ways, Ocho -- deep, hard, and continuously," he added. "I'd have her opening up like saloon doors."

During their sit-down, Sharpe admitted to Megan that his "joke" was inappropriate and that he regrets causing her any "harm" or "embarrassment."

"Meg, before we go any further, I want to apologize to you personally," Sharpe said at the beginning of their "Club Shay Shay" interview.

The NFL Hall of Famer explained that he'd always hoped to get the opportunity to apologize to Megan in person and initially thought he might not get the chance following his comments about her.

Addressing his remarks, he confessed, "I told a joke, and I said it in jest, but I believe the joke would have been just as funny had I left you out of it."

"For any unwanted attention, harm, shame, embarrassment that I caused you or your family, I wanna say as a man, as I sit here before you, I apologize," Sharpe added.

Megan put her hands over her heart and accepted Sharpe's apology, saying, "I appreciate that."

Sharpe then invited the "Savage" hitmaker to take a shot of his Shay by Le Portier cognac.

"You've been amazing, and you have an amazing career going forward," the host said.

The cognac received Megan's approval, who described it as "smooth."

"I was waiting for it to tear me up! OK, I like that," she declared.

Sharpe said he'll give her a brand new bottle of his cognac to bring home after the taping, which Megan appreciated.
