Julio Foolio Dead Or Alive? Rapper's Instagram Still Active With New Posts Days After Death
New posts appeared on Julio Foolio's Instagram account a little over a week after he was shot and killed on June 23.
The late rapper's Instagram followers were left confused about whether he was dead or alive when three new posts were uploaded on his page starting Sunday. The first upload after Julio's death was an interview clip where he was asked how he would like to be remembered after his passing.
"As a funny, good-hearted young man who loved his people," he responded in the video.
Stunned by the activity on the late rapper's social media page, his followers and other users on the platform expressed confusion.
"It's giving 'I'm alive but I'm dead,'" commented one user.
"Haven't heard when they're going to have this man's funeral yet. I think he is alive," speculated another.
"At this point, I'm confused," wrote a different commenter.
The day after, another interview clip was posted on the "Bibby's Flow" rapper's page, and it was captioned: "I'll never die. I'm a demigod."
In the interview, he was quoted as saying, "I'm going to be here for sure. I ain't going nowhere, I'm a demigod... You can't get me."
With this second update on his page, people were left even more confused.
"Bro [is] confusing everybody. Like, are you dead or what?" asked one Instagram user.
"He is not dead. Go look at the video when he was on the stretcher on his way to the ambulance. He was sitting up, and if you're dead, they're not putting you in no ambulance," claimed another person.
Meanwhile, someone else wrote, "This has become disturbing. Respect the dead, get off his account and let him REST."
However, the posts did not stop there. A third video was uploaded a day later, with the caption: "Everything 100 percent insured @designerdistro.la #demigod."
"I'm convinced bro's alive," one fan quickly commented.
"Bro, choose if you wanna be dead or not," quipped another IG user.
A concerned fan wrote, "Everybody's gonna start doing this now... My favorite rapper from my city, rest up, little bro."
On June 23, Jonee Lewis, a spokesperson of the Tampa Police Department, said during a news conference that a shooting happened at around 4:40 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Tampa North on East Fowler Avenue.
Shortly after, Lewis Fusco, the rapper's lawyer, confirmed that Julio was shot and killed.
