Morgan Freeman Blasts Viral TikToker Who Claimed She Was His Niece And Used His Voice Without His Approval
Morgan Freeman is shutting down a viral TikTok that used his voice without his authorization.
Content creator Justine posted videos online asserting a familial connection to Freeman, specifically calling herself his "nepo niece" and using his voice using Artifical Intelligence (AI).
Using an AI-generated simulation of his renowned voice, the woman posted a video on her "Justine's Camera Roll" page, which has since been removed. In one segment, a voiceover declared, "Narrated by me, Morgan Freeman."
On June 28, the 87-year-old actor expressed gratitude to his supporters who alerted others when the woman falsely employed his voice to deceive social media followers into believing they were related.
In a social media update, Freeman thanked his devoted fans for their vigilance in uncovering the unauthorized use of an AI-generated voice mimicking him.
