Morgan Freeman is shutting down a viral TikTok that used his voice without his authorization.

Content creator Justine posted videos online asserting a familial connection to Freeman, specifically calling herself his "nepo niece" and using his voice using Artifical Intelligence (AI).

Using an AI-generated simulation of his renowned voice, the woman posted a video on her "Justine's Camera Roll" page, which has since been removed. In one segment, a voiceover declared, "Narrated by me, Morgan Freeman."

On June 28, the 87-year-old actor expressed gratitude to his supporters who alerted others when the woman falsely employed his voice to deceive social media followers into believing they were related. 

In a social media update, Freeman thanked his devoted fans for their vigilance in uncovering the unauthorized use of an AI-generated voice mimicking him.

Throughout his career, Morgan Freeman has contributed his unmistakable voice to numerous documentaries and served as the narrator for projects such as 'The Long Way Home' (1997) and the acclaimed sports drama 'Million Dollar Baby' (2003.) 

The creator later called the now-deleted video an "obvious joke" and says she "thought it was funnny."
