Royal commentator Dee Dee Dunleavy has claimed that there would be no reconciliation between Prince Harry and the royal family as long as he is with Meghan Markle.

In an interview with Sky News Australia, Dunleavy claimed that the Duchess of Sussex would never allow her husband to apologize to the royal family for his memoir, "Spare."

"It is not gonna happen. He is not going to apologize, at least not while he is still with Meghan. I really do believe he does her bidding and she is never going to allow him to apologize to the family. I can't see it happening," she told host Rita Panahi.

Panahi also asked Dunleavy if she thinks King Charles would be looking for any opportunity to "mend these wounds" and bring Prince Harry back to the family.

"We really don't know what goes on behind closed doors, and their relationship may be fine," she responded.

Dunleavy's interview comes after the King's former royal butler, Grant Harrold, exclusively told the New York Post his thoughts about any possible reconciliation between the Duke of Sussex and the royal family.

"The only way I see this happening is a public statement from Harry, where you come out and say that you were in a bad space and that [Spare] was a mistake," he exclusively told the outlet, believing it is the one thing that Prince Harry could do to win his family and old life back.

However, he added, "I don't think that's going to happen. Some bad things were said, and some families never patch[ed] things up, and that's how it is forevermore."

"Harry has got a big heart, and a part of him probably wishes things would be different."

"[Harry] caused damage and broke down trust. It's difficult when you're a future monarch," he continued.

"I doubt they'll ever get back the relationship they had originally. That was a different relationship built on trust... It's going to take time."
