Marlon Wayans’ Los Angeles Home Robbed While Brother Keenen Slept Like A Baby: 'Pick A Better Target'
Marlon Wayans' residence has become the latest target in a recent series of burglaries affecting the homes of celebrities in Los Angeles.
Intruders broke into the comedian's backyard and "shattered a back window" around 2:30a.m. on Saturday, June 29.
The 'White Chicks' actor was not present at the time of the break-in, but his older brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was fast asleep. Despite hearing a noise, Keenen, 66, dismissed it and returned to his slumber, according to 'TMZ.' The next morning, a staff member discovered that Marlon's home had been ransacked, with the burglars making off with a safe and "several thousands of dollars in cash."
Following the burglary, Marlon noted that the "most valuable thing" the burglars could have taken was his entire house.
"First and foremost, thank you to all the people that checked on me seeing if everything is okay," he said in a video on Instagram. "I was burglarized. I want you to know, they didn't really get much because I don't own s**t."

"God is so Good. Everyone is fine. I'm grateful," he said. "Dear ROBBERS and OTHERS, I am the WRONG N**** to ROB. Save your energy. I don't have anything valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, I live a simple life with 2 cats [sp] and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover, you will need a jumpstart if you steal it cuz the battery is dead."
"I don't have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better thank you and love you... still," he concluded his caption.
While authorities have launched an investigation, they have yet to make any arrests.
The 'Good Grief' comic's home burglary is the latest in a string of Hollywood robberies. According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' former NBA baller Paul Pierce, 'Squid Game' actor Lee Byung-hun, and 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Kyle Richards' daughter Farrah homes have also been hit by thieves.
