New footage and photos appear to show the suspected gunman behind the fatal shooting at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania Saturday.

A video obtained by CNN appeared to show the body of the suspected shooter lying on the rooftop of a building outside the venue of the Trump rally.

In the short clip, which has been reposted and gone viral on X, formerly Twitter, a large group of people could be seen looking in the direction of the rooftop where the man's body was lying.

The Associated Press reported that the gunman, who was not a rally attendee, was shot and killed by the Secret Service.

The New York Post, citing unnamed sources, reported that the shooter was allegedly identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

Enstarz could not independently verify this information.

The FBI said during a briefing early Sunday that it was not prepared to release the name of the gunman at this time, according to AP.

The agency also said it has not yet identified a motive in what it called an "assassination attempt" on Trump.

Photos published by the Post showed a closer look at the scene.

In the images, a man in a gray T-shirt and beige shorts could be seen with what appeared to be blood on his head.

Men in police and military uniforms could be seen standing over the man's body while holding rifles.

Sky News also shared an aerial photo showing a rifle on a roof next to a body, which the outlet blurred.

According to Sky News, the building in the image is located about 150 meters (164 yards) away from the rally's venue.

An unnamed source told the AP that authorities found an AR-style rifle at the scene.

Trump was speaking on stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday when gunshots were fired.

Shortly after, the former president was seen with blood on his ear and face.

His campaign later confirmed that he was "fine" after being brought to a medical facility.

In a Truth Social post following the incident, Trump said he "was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of [his] right ear."

"I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin," he added.

Two others at the rally were hit by gunfire. One died as a result of his injuries, while the other was critically injured, according to AP.

Authorities also did not release the names of the two victims, who were only identified as adult males.
